365 Week 10

Look at me, all ahead of/on schedule! We've got a date night tonight so I thought I'd post early and not have to worry about it tonight or tomorrow. And just for my friend Rachael, I won't even complain about how terrible my photos are! :)

I got a cute shot of Henry and Lanore (I've been wanting some of them with the dog, and she was tolerating him at the moment.) Also had to get one of Holden on the potty, since it's a classic. Hopefully he won't kill me for it when he's 18! Still trying to get good shots of the birds at our feeder and finally got one of our cardinals! We also had a much needed haircut this week, and another big event: taking the side off of Holden's crib. (Henry still has his and doesn't seem to mind so that's good for us.) So I had to sneak in there and get another nap shot, this time without any bars in front of him! (Probably one of the last naptime shots as they are sleeping less and less and it's not worth the risk of going in their room!) And today there was a "digger" (I'm sure it has a real name but that works for me) in our neighborhood, so I took the boys over in the wagon so they could watch it dig. Mom of the year right here! :) So that was my week, thanks for stopping by!

    1. Ha, thanks! I always want to take shots of the construction type trucks...I think they'd make such a cool shot, but I never have the chance to stop, get out of my car, and shoot. So I was excited to see one right around the corner! (But I still felt embarrassed taking a picture!!)

    1. Thanks! I cropped it way in, hope that's not cheating too much. And the haircut one cracks me up...it doesn't hurt but they sure act like it! :)

  3. Ah, those nap pics are just too cute...love that you caught the cardinal--my great grandmother always told me I was supposed to make a wish whenever I saw one, look away and not look back--only then would it come true! ;) I think the Thomas shot is great too...just another view into their world! Great job!

    1. Thanks! I've heard so many things about cardinals. I think I heard one that was when you see a cardinal it's someone you love that has died or something like that. So they do always feel special! We have a few that come to our feeder so I was so excited to capture one! :)
